EAA Chapter 1471 is a non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting aviation education and activities.

 

Chapter 1471 is based at the Logansport/Cass County Airport (KGGP) located at 3735 S. Airport Road, Logansport, Indiana 46947.

 

Chapter meetings are help the 1st Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at the airports Terminal Operations Center.

Welcome to the official web site of the Logansport, Indiana Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA).

We are a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion of the sport and hobby of recreational aviation, aviation safety, education and fellowship.

Chapter 1471 holds it's monthly meeting at 6:30 pm on the first Monday of the month at Logansport/Cass County Airport Terminal Operations Center. Guests are always welcome and encouraged to attend.  We have interesting guest speakers, informative presentations, share information and resources, and just simply have a good time with friends who love aviation.

The EAA is an international organization dedicated to the support of aircraft homebuilders, and also sponsors various programs designed to provide education in, and to promote the enthusiasm for, general aviation.  The benefits of EAA national membership are numerous, and we encourage you to visit the official web site of the EAA at your leisure to learn more about this impressive and dynamic organization.

The members of Chapter 1471 are a diverse group of aviation enthusiasts from the Logansport area and beyond.  Diverse in age, interests and occupations.  It is not necessary to be a pilot to belong to EAA and Chapter 1471. Our non-pilot members are committed to promoting general aviation through participation in the many and varied activities the Chapter sponsors each year. We also encourage the active participation of young people in Chapter activities through our Young Eagles program.

Throughout the year Chapter 1471 hosts fly-ins, fly-outs and other activities for the young and young at heart who enjoy the romance of aviation.  If you fly, would like to learn to fly, or if you just have a love for aviation in general, please accept our invitation to attend our next monthly general meeting.
